More cuts coming to Kmart. Stores can't really afford more but its coming. All full time leads will be going to part time positions as soon as the end of this week. Store hours will be cut down as well. All of this being done before the new year.

My store (Kmart) has been open until 10pm for years. It was recently cut back to 9pm. Is this a sign the store is closing? I was told the DM made the call.

Why would Sears not team up with Circuit City and sell space in stores where electronics used to be?

No. Sears just keeps paying minimum wage (which they also can't afford, necessitating layoffs). And the paygap between Sears and Walmart works keeps increasing. Why do people continue to work at Sears?
