Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Client office

I wake up every day thinking if I will lose my job today. Not how I can service clients. And did she just say everyone will get raises and they will be good? Who is everyone? And in July?

@hf I can confirm that the average merit was capped at 4.5-5%. Very, VERY, few people are getting 8.5% merit increase. I had to jump through many hoops to get someone a 10% raise because they were 5% below their pay range.

@xc Excuse my ignorance, what are those categories? Given that we are not doing performance review ratings anymore, it can't be anything to do with performance so must be role/location based? If so, it makes a mockery of "pay for performance"!!

8.5% is nowhere near what I've seen for July so far.

@hf 8.5% raise in July or is that a different merit cycle?

@OP The Client Office Town Hall was beyond an embarrassment - SF made it clear she did not want to be there, had to be told what to say and once again told stories of her youth that had no bearing on the positive - Learn AI like we all learned how to us computers?

FR04: Cost base reduced by headcount reductions.
FR05: Merit funding not reduced in 2026.
FR09: Average merit award targeting 8.5% this cycle.

@a5 it's clear that you are NOT giving proper respect to the ja----s who boasted about the 20% raise by being bad/lazy/incompetent at his job by using AI because he didn't have the skills.

This overwhelming fear MUST be affecting the quality of transactions, how could it not? This kind of traumatic anxiety pervades everything, it is the primary topic of conversation. Agreed that each day has that, will this be the day, fear.

@a5 Does that apply to the C-Suite as well ? I'm sure they are compensated big-time , not matter what. It's only the daily peasants that have to suffer.

I hadn't heard that. Certainly it's not going to be major raises in the merit cycle..

@a2 we are privileged to work here and we are going to be so excited by the messaging in a few weeks - so far removed from reality! La la land!
