Rumor is that the offers are delayed by at least 1 week! Not a surprise, HR failed to secure the required approvals from Exxon executives for the offers, and some of them are enjoying their holidays till next week! Again, corporate separateness, my a.. !

@s9 had a coworker given end of year on Monday this week. Seems the early notice though is just some depts mine didn’t get any separation notices this week.
I haven't heard anyone being let go so far this week so I am guessing it's all offers this week?

@mm Guidance was to do offers first. That said know that at least one refinery was able to do the reverse first.

I have faith that the company will find me a position that they think best utilizes my talents. If they decide to make me redundant then I will thank Darren Woods personally for the opportunity.
@ga sounds like some separations thus far. I'd expect there was a list of definite offers, definite separations, and then a list of some folks who may end up with an offer or a separation depending on the initial acceptance rate and how many roles are left to fill. Likely more separations to come.
You can call it getting fired or laid off, you don’t have to use IOL lingo.
@j5 thanks that's what my understanding as well, but saw someone said below both offers bad separation released yesterday. Not sure if that's just a false information.
@ga idea is that separations come later in the month after the needed roles are filled

Did anyone get a separation communication today? All I know of so far have been offers to stay.
Communications will be released in batches Mondays and Wednesdays.
If you are wanting to stay, don't panic if you didn't hear today.

Not everyone informed today got an offer. Some were let go.
I think maybe they are pacing both offers and separations together to balance whatever is left of morale.
It also seems to be by department and not by location.
Some offers went out today next week will be 2nd choice for anyone that declined today's offer.

I have a meeting invite tomorrow with a manager with reference to a position offer. Timing has not been delayed.
They already got sent out Friday to CL 28 mgrs, stop trying to elevate peoples stresses with lies.
They could not fu-k this up any harder if they tried.
