Survey

Although survey results have not been published, leaders are already touting it as a huge success solely based on the number of teammates that responded, which is up from years past. As has been mentioned before, it does not matter how bad the actual responses are, if they get high participation, executive management sees it as a win; they see it as teammates caring, engaged, and believing executive management listens (and will do something about issues).

@qj There is no way TAS results were positive. I know many people are trying to leave and quite a few left this year. My audit team cannot keep people. No one stays more than year. The most tenured person started mid February and that’s Director on down. So many left TAS and went to the business including risk officer, risk advisor, issues execution, and issues assurance. Grant is a company man he will say anything.

There was some mention of the survey results during the TAS Town Hall yesterday. I wasn’t paying much attention, but my interest with piqued when I heard Grant say the results were positive. I remember sitting there, incredulous and thinking that there’s no way the results could be positive even when the survey closed before the RTO mandate came down.

I generally complete the surveys, and I really do try to answer truthfully and objectively. This year, I still tried to do that, but only 2-3 of my ratings/answers were higher than neutral - most were the lowest or second-lowest rating. It genuinely made me sad when I reviewed my answers because it’s definitely not always been this way. I used to have pride about where I work, and I used to feel like I was valued. I still take pride in my work and do it to the best of my ability, but it’s disheartening to work for the company that Truist has become as of late.

@OP truthfully the teammate opinions don’t matter because all you do is whine. None of the feedback has ever been productive, just a pity party. Just look at this board. We need to keep offshoreing.

@OP "they see it as teammates caring, engaged, and believing executive management listens (and will do something about issues)."
That's a bit of a leap. They see it as feedback, yes; but many employees also feel forced by management to take the survey because our managers are incentivized by response rates. And, no amount of dissatisfaction on any question will change the game plan. Truist has set the mandates, and now they just want to gauge the impact.

I’m sure the results are just fine. No need to review the data with teammates.
