Why is Wells Fargo switching so many employee job titles over to Business Execution Consultants? They are all performing entirely different job duties with dramatically different levels of education and responsibility, and have extremely wide salary ranges - anywhere from $47K - $290K per year (per public sources). They were re-titled from disparate backgrounds: Administrative Assistants, Project Managers, Operations Managers, Compliance, Audit, IT, managers who lost their titles in Spans & Layers, etc
I don’t see this job title being used at any other company that I can find. It’s not like Wells Fargo is (legally) “ahead of the curve” on anything. At least 15% of the current job openings are for Business Execution Consultants.
Why bother to have job descriptions at all if they’re throwing so many employees in to one hodgepodge bucket?
