Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Prediction

Continued employee unrest. Short term ability to pump the stock but as contracts expire major price compression due to quality issues. More leadership swearing, belittling and general bad behavior. Fiserv ripe for the picking of still really good remaining talent. In 5 years, fiserv is an afterthought but not before leaders have cashed out in a major way.

The stock is a dog. And when that happens leadership takes it out on the people

@3sbc+15XE5xTe the stock performance history of First Data was pretty meager, and Fiserv stock is beginning to show the same trends. Why is Fiserv stocks down on 7/21/202 while the rest of the market is up including tech and financial? Also, why has most of the industry stock rebounded and Fiserv still has a pretty bad looking 6 month moving average..... Do investors see through the synergies bull sh–, and realize Fiserv is too much risk until they have proven they can be profitable without quick cuts to employee benefits or employees?

The stock closed up over 3% today, what happened to the predictions it would tank? I read on here the company was never going to close above 100 again. In fact I think the prediction was 90 and falling. I'm confused and now I'm starting to believe all the positive things posted about Fiserv and FB.

That is true. The tricky part is fiserv works really hard to block you from getting another job after the RIF. It’s it the severance which of course you sign. But you need to take the risk and find another job. They talk smack but have no balls. #ball-less. Double dip, they won’t take action and you’ll bank some much deserved cash

@1woj+15XE5xTe you would be an id–t to put in your two weeks notice without have a new opportunity. If you don't like your job, then it is simple. Prepare yourself for a better opportunity, and go job hunting until the right offer lands. Fiserv pays less than the industry standards, and you will more than likely to find something better relatively easy.

Not sure the experience each of you had, but epay leadership ended up being staffed with a bunch of late arriving, never added 1 bit of business value, asshats. And they spent their first 3 years blaming their incompetence on the people that built the business. That act runs out or is doesn’t. Either way being free of those tools is a good thing

A good friend of mine applied for a First Data, read that used to be Fiserv, job that paid only $40,000 per year which is lousy pay for a job. I know other people who have left for more lucrative positions so these posters who love FB and the New Fiserv are just shills touting the party line.

Why should they quit bedazzled? It’s their company, they worked hard to make it what it was and now they want to restore it to being a high performing great place to work

Prediction: Leadership will continue to strip away retirement benefits, replacing them with childish gimmicks in a cheaply transparent attempt to buy back employee support. Rather than reinstate actual tangible benefits such as the 401k match, a "no-pants Friday" dress code "enhancement" will be touted to try to make employees forget about how much they are being used and abused while the company violently explodes straight off the friggin' tracks. #fiservembarrassed

I dare anyone who is unhappy with the new fiserv to put in their notice immediately. Prediction: No one on this board or otherwise will put in their notice because they realize they can't find a better job or a better place to work than fiserv. Its great to troll the message board but no one here is gonna quit, you all just want to wallow in your own self misery.

Prediction: Leadership will continue to waste company dollars on shills in a vain attempt at rescuing the rock-bottom morale and irrecoverably damaged company image. In addition, they will continue to waste big fat chunks of money on fake Fortune awards and force employees to pack their email signatures full of lies. Any remaining money will NOT be used to "richly" reward employees, but instead will be funneled into friggin' fake Glassdoor reviews. #fiservembarrassed

@odb+15XE5xTe Spot on and keep posting, So many on here just want to complain instead of apply that energy to improving both themselves and the company. If you are not happy, move on, if you stay than expect to work hard and be richly rewarded. #Fiservproud

@nel+15XE5xTe that is a great point. Look at the reviews on glassdoor.com. Based on those reviews, i would think that about 40% of the employee's are not happy, because in 6 months the CEO approval rating has dropped 4 points. This would take a significant number of people to care enough to put something on glassdoor.com, despite the fake glassdoor updates that are getting entered in. I had a good chuckle at a couple of them, saying great 401k benefits.

I think the responses from the Fiserv cheer leaders are comical on here.

Here's another prediction: due to the recent layoffs, there will be excess donuts left over from the agile book clubs. Leadership will increase their donut intake, which will ultimately lead to health deterioration. Healthcare costs will increase across the board to cover this.

"Still can’t understand people who get a paycheck from a company and spend their time in such foolish negativity that has zero basis in fact or reality. I think your mental health may be a problem"

Who has the mental health problem, the person posting their unhappiness with what once was a good company or someone who has an issue with people voicing this and needing to come back to the forum over and over again to try and rebutt? You better get your own mental health checked. If the company was so great and you were so content, you'd have no reason coming to this forum

"44,000 must think this is a good place"

Is it still 44,000? Let's see what the next earnings call states. My prediction is 42,000.

And one of the most profitable, by the way! Would you rather work for Delta, Macy’s how about GM? Not me, glad to work for a company with strong secular trends even in a COVID economy.

Your predictions are your own sad fantasy. Fiserv is a Fortune 200 company and most of us are proud be be here. Still can’t understand people who get a paycheck from a company and spend their time in such foolish negativity that has zero basis in fact or reality. I think your mental health may be a problem. Seriously you may need to call, the EAP. 44,000 must think this is a good place that provides a living for them and their families and don’t really care about your delusions. No company is perfect, no family and no individual. If you took half of your energy and concentrated on making things better you would be better off!

Sad but true. Another prediction: "leadership" becomes even lazier by relying on friggin' goal-setting programs via Workday as a replacement for actually interacting with their employees, leading to an implosion-level decline in trust and morale.
