@k6 Not being gaslit. Being allowed to focus on work instead of fulfilling a leader's fantasy of being an executive when they are several layers below that. And of course, staying our of the political culture that Truist seems to be fostering.
Unfortunately, you have to play the stupid political game to see a pay bump. The work you do doesn't seem to matter and it makes zero sense. There are managers keeping the merit increases low so they look good in front of their managers and they nab a bonus for it.

Ha - no kidding. I moved on and while the days are still filled with issues and frustrations, the motivation is there and I’m enjoying work again.
I think it stems from the fact that my leadership doesn’t view me as an expense, but an actual person trying to make the business better. Truist leadership views employees as a necessary evil
It will come back once you work somewhere else. Mind did.
