Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

How's that pink Kool-Aid tasting

Ya'll lapped up the pink Kool-Aid like it was champagne. Ya'll believed Legere when he said TMO would "be job-positive from Day 1" after they gobbled up Sprint. Truth is they started laying off on Day 1.

Mmmm, that pink Kool-Aid seems to be going sour. But, go on to the next all hands meeting and rah rah.

None of you regularly make or consume Kool Aid. Don’t bullsh-t me like there’s some good BBQ around or a death cult to help me move onto glory in WA.

@k1 Don't cherry pick the quote in that you didn't include the stated date. You don't think this stuff was planned out years in advance ? For those that need a memory refresh, the date was specified as 2024.

@k1 You do know that Legere is long gone right? These cuts are owned by Mike and Srini. Period.

@a5 there are less jobs now than there were then. That's not job positive.

My Kool aid is Magenta! Best flavor ever! Sounds like someone lost their job and has a case of vaginosis. Just move on nobody wants to hear you cry. I'll continue to drink the delicious Magenta juice forever.

Sounds like a bitter ex-employee. I'm drinking it cause I'm still here.

Imagine having pink hair and finding out the warm "we love everyone watch all these multi shaped, multi hair colored inclusive people in a training video" was moot and your company was paying for a new ball room under what you consider the worst human ever. LOL.

@at We know how well incoming sprint employees were compensated. Also must be nice for several to have pensions. Glad we could make room for you to wait for early retirement packages. I’d be happy too.

And I've been paid well since the merger and I'll stick it out until I get laid off. I knew it wasn't going to last forever and I still know that. Im also not going to be a miserable troll while Im waiting for the day.

They layed people off when Legere was there in early 2013.

@OP You gullibly read into it like they wanted you to. You made the assumption that the jobs would be in the same locations, same organizations, and same structure as they were then. You also assumed that he was talking about the combined workforce of both companies, not just one of them. Any employment bridging contractually obligated ? No Ledger said: "T-Mobile employees doesn’t automatically get a job; Sprint employees don’t automatically get a job. We are going to choose who is the best person that is suited to do specific jobs, and that is a big deal."
