Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

No More PollEV, How convenient...

No more pollev in ESA and larger townhalls, seems like the MC doesn't want to hear anonymously anymore. No one is going to ask the real questions anymore or reach out to them specifically with their name attached to it, it feels like silencing.

@1e7 It probably does have something to do with reducing liability. PollEV was open to anyone with the password and who knows what other parties were on there gathering evidence.

It's difficult to mitigate exposure to EEO lawsuits if employees keep asking on PollEV why a certain demographic exceeds interview and hire rates versus others. With PollEV out of the way, management can go back to pretending it's in the dark about the results of its own hiring practices.

@jz investigative journalism takes time. I want leadership in Minneapolis to be aware of the longterm intentions of this company. "Revitalizing" downtown Minneapolis is a joke when MN based employees are being strategically fired and replaced by offshore contractors.

Do not stop sharing the disgusting, anti-American strategy this company secretly doesn't want investors or stateside leadership to hear about. Does Jacob Frey understand that USB has no intention of sustaining a workforce in Minnesota past 2028? What does Daniel Lurie think about Chase, USB, WF and others firing the majority of their U.S. based workforce? Are customers and larger investors aware of what's happening? Are customers aware that their banking services including sensitive financial data are slowly being offshored and managed by Indian contractors?

They deserve to know. There's not much we can do. But hundreds of thousands of U.S. employees have lost their jobs and many more are waiting for their turn at the chopping block. Many are aware there's no future at this company if an American citizen.

Shareholders (who benefit and build astronomical wealth off the infrastructure and economy funded by American workers and tax payers) should be ashamed of themselves. Never stop sharing what you can legally share.

@jt This has been brought up several times along with sick outs, reporting to the media, hoping that an investigative reporter would contact you and be the top headline, hiring lawyers who specialize in employment law etc, etc. i have yet to hear about any of those things coming to fruition. Maybe a few people would have a case. But, USB has deep enough pockets and an army of attorneys to squash any lawsuits if anyone can get an attorney to file a lawsuit.

There’s power in numbers. We need to unionise,

Guess they thought they could strong arm PollEV to give up employee metadata and identify people. That didn't work so here we are now.

If they want a direct conversation then open up the audio for everyone and see how that goes. Their strength is in their title and power that comes with it. Our strength is in our numbers. So I don't see them chicken s-h-i-t-s opening up the floor anytime.

So now they get to make up fake questions to fuel their awful agenda. Nice.

It's absolutely silencing and it's been a long time coming between the "add your name" in PollEV or "email us directly," which not only identifies the employee but prevents information from being shared widely during the calls if they even take the time to answer questions. They don't care. Never have, never will.

Probably sick of all the return to office questions framed a different way. Yeah it completely su-ks and doesn’t make sense at all. They don’t make it make sense however, if that’s what they inbox is littered with then I think we’re just working our way to a five day week, which would be even more cr-ppy.
