In a way, I'm glad that I was the first one impacted, and it was my manager who had to inform the other 3 people in my team who were also impacted in the same wave.
We’ve lost two people and people in other groups were completely surprised and had no idea and thought one of them just ‘resigned.’ Is this a result of the Thermo sale being smaller than expected?

I’ve heard of all sales roles being impacted, AAWS, PSTS, PAWS and Clinical Specialists. Not sure how they chose who to cut.
Yes, 3 of my 4 PSTS's were let go, which seems to be the trend around the country.
Your manager may be in danger of getting canned him/her self after doing the dirty deed to his/her team. I've seen that before way too many times. Bosses think that cutting low-level heads saves them. But Bryan has marching orders from some guy on a yacht to cut-cut-cut and for 40 million he's all-in.
