Anyone planning to take advantage of the voluntary "raise your hand" program?

VRIF offers appears to be PT (North America) only, but haven't gotten positive confirmation of this. Severance paid bi-weekly for the duration of severance period (up to 38 week). Medical/dental/vision benefits deducted from severance, so coverage lasts until end of severance when COBRA becomes active.

I’ve decided to stay at Honeywell. With AI set to wipe out knowledge workers world wide I am betting on the reliably incompetent Honeywell IT and the head-in-sand ostriches in legal to keep Honeywell ten years behind industry when it comes to AI. That is ten years of employment I wouldn’t otherwise have.
Go team Shiela! You guys have never seen an opportunity that could not be avoided with old fashioned bureaucracy.
Pass me a slide rule.. I think my paycheck was off a bit this week.

@h1 Like ah8 said as long as you’re employed through 12/15 you should receive your 401K match. However, keep your current account open at least until you receive the deposit to your account…hopefully by late January ‘26.

@h1 Honeywell says the cutoff is 12/15. I would not trust them until its in your account.

@g2 what about our 401k? Do you have to be employed by Honeywell when the 401k match is granted?

I received an offer from AWS that nearly doubles my pay. I start 1/12/26. I'm still hoping for a layoff.....

Haven’t seen this in aero. Always a long line waiting at the door to leave.

If this is true, why did it not come before all of the recent reorgs and layoffs?

@cw would love to take it. Got a job offer where they want me to start in January but I want to wait till MIP. This would sweeten my deal and help me get my exit.

This stupid voice typing. I just want to know if it's true. Put that stupid word in there. That doesn't make sense.

If this really is true, would it be for the whole entire company?

You'd be able to get rid of people invasions by offering this. Always being under the award act.

Don't get me too excited! I really don't believe it's true. However, maybe I'll get lucky this time.
