Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Do not rehire flags?

Say you worked under an incredibly ignorant and overly confident VP who wrecked your department and in an attempt to help fix things, you find yourself a target and eventually resign after receiving unethical orders.

My questions are
A. Is there a flagging system for ex employees and if so
B. How can one find out?
C. Can it be challenged?

Feel like there may be hope returning to the Swoosh.

Why would you even want to come back? It’s toxic. HR surely has some ridiculous way of tracking what your “leader” said about you but what’s missing is the truth. Then there is the speak up portal that they also oversee. These are in place but HR doesn’t follow policy and neither do many leaders. So you might be safe to go back to the circus.

If they worked at Nike before, that's a red flag.

There is a "regrettable hire" flag. Not quite the same, but gonna be a roadblock

Any ex-employee no matter how they left gets an ER review before they can be hired back. Unless you have had a past case or documentation against you in a negative way then you are fine. Someone can’t just flag you because they didn’t like you or how you left.
