Is it 2 days per week ? Or can done 4 days a week and skip full next week ?
Are there any min hours in office requirement ? Or is coffee badging ok ?

@1hv The VOW has always been a joke. I was @HP/HPE for 30 years and didn't see one positive thing come from it. It's just a way to find out who can't be assimilated! Don't do it or answer neutral to all the questions. It is NOT anonymous!!!
Three days in the office this week and there’s definitely a lot to be excited about.
Our Q3 earnings were strong, record revenue, great momentum, and a lot of positive energy across the company.
Great people, great conversations, and a really fun week. Love being a Texan!
And tomorrow is FriYAY, so I’d say we’re ending the week on a high note!

I like the stealing supplies idea. I'll spend most of one day in the office planning on what to steal the next time i'm in the office again. It's smart.
younger managers micromanage, older established are more lenient
There is a "well, how are we really going to do this?" going around management. There is no info on how and when control and enforcement will happen. Different managers claim different things.
One of those things where we'll make rules up as they go.
I am someone that goes into the office 3 times a week, but I think it's utterly id--tic to tell me exactly which days I go in... let me establish my office collaboration priorities myself based on business priorities.

I only go to the office to steal supplies. Toilet paper, stuff from the kitchenette, stuff from coworker's desks that haven't been touched in months. . . it's worth it! It's like a side hustle but already at work.

I think people have very different experiences at this company. I know in my organization we are expected to work, create results, and even work and be available outside of work hours. Having said that, to answer the original post, it depends a lot on whether your group actually needs to be together to work or not. Unfortunately, the side effect of the latest policy is that there are many people who are expected (I guess) to go into an office just because of where they live even if they have no other team members or projects with other teams and spend that entire time communicating with people in other offices or doing their own work. Neither of those require going into the office. In the end, if they are paying you I do what management/HR want, even if it wastes time or does not make sense. I've tried to point things like this out, but it just gets pushed up the management chain and disappears. Now I don't bother.

My point - come to the office 5 days a week, and do not work.
