RTO Phase 2 and Remote Employees

Has anyone heard when Phase 2 of RTO will take place? Assuming outer offices will return 5 days and remote employees given a chance to move closer to an office. Do we think management has already been fighting for remote works to be given an exception ( I’m referring to those in Sales)

What are the odds that DT put his (filthy, disgusting) thumb in thew scale in regards to the Ellison's wanting everyone back to office 5 days a week? Could that have made one of the concessions made to donnie in return for approval of the SD/Paramount merger? After all donnie wants too dismantle all orgs and institutions he considers "woke".

@fa yes nothing is optimal with that streaming division compared to Netflix and the costs must be massive for us over them with the old guard of Viacom in power

@fb someone on another topic here said the decision on remote rto would be announced by late June which was said on one of the town halls.

@fb Like any of us is so important to P+ to deserve a name plate.

In NY there are name plates at desk locations for workers who are remote based. I imagine that they will be called back in soon enough. I thought I saw somewhere in the RTO documentation that it was a June date.

@d8 Agree 100%. Too many layers of management result in miscommunication, and things grinding to halt with so many egos and opinions. This results in paralysis and things don't mover forward. Meanwhile companies like Netlifx are (presumably) lean, mean machines that are light years ahead of the competition. P+ keeps languishing and falling even more behind.

Thanks. For the record, my RTO was January. 5 days in the NY office. I’m curious how remote workers will be handled because it will affect my team . Hope if we hear by March 30

The amount of management layers is astounding and if you look at how many don’t even have direct reports is proof positive this company needs flattening. Imagine how much could be saved, this is the real reason we aren’t doing well.

@c3 that’s a lie. Why would you even post that? Don’t listen to the person who said July. We will all know soon and it is not bad news.

@cb there will be no problem finding space because half of the org will have left for other jobs by then

How do you think it’s going to work for finding space in Los Angeles and 1525? I have teammates in both and both of their floors and buildings are full so if the remote individuals have to come back and into one of those locations will they just be sitting in some random floor or building by themselves or will they be doing space planning again and moving everyone around to accommodate?
