Don’t think if you don’t hear today that you’re in the clear. I’m told all 2/17 announcements were pushed to 2/18 because leadership didn't want John to have to field questions at his Open Mic today. So, announcements go out tomorrow, 2/18. Last day on payroll 3/4.

@jz there are a number of other posts on here already about people who got letters across the business on 2/18. Many orgs impacted. Most L3&4s, but I’ve heard of L2s as well. Tough day for many
@OP so?..what happened??
What orgs were impacted?
Got my notification today - off payroll by 3/4. I am OK with it - it's time to go.
@f3 I know of L2s and L1s effected.
Is this for L3s only? Or any other levels impacted? Anyone know???
@es March 4 is my last day on payroll as expected with this round.
@ee It was the layoff notice.
@ed I will update if this is the one or just a random touch base (which has never happened, hence the suspicion).
@ec managers scheduling meetings with impacted team members this morning
Go a 30 minute touch base meeting scheduled this morning from my manager. Feels Suspicious.
Anyone heard anything?
When I arrived at the office this morning, I received an announcement via text from my husband advising that if I come home for lunch, I will get laid today.
Bring it on!!
Stank is doing the jobs of Moe, Larry, and Curly, On weekends he adds Shemp.
Please report what area of company have you received notification impacted.
Be specific
“ The money and perks are nice…”
What “perks” exactly?
Getting berated by your CEO because he doesn’t like feedback on engagement surveys, that kind of thing?
@ap announcement to supervisors went out today but not to the people
I got so little work I’m bored. 8 hours is a long day when you got nothing to do.
@ap maybe just our group that was delayed then. What org do you know that got them?
“I’m doing the jobs of 4 different people and stretched thin.”
It’s called work for a reason.
Announcements went out today.
Sounds about right. Everyone is being pushed harder than ever before. Itll get better once they migrate off copper and automate everything. Of course, the jobs left will require no skill and the lay will reflect that.
At this point in my young career, I’m like what the fu-k I just need to quit while I’m still in my 30s. The money and perks are nice but this train is going nowhere and I need to rip the bandaid off and jump ship. Sick of this place. Accidentally became important and now I’m doing the jobs of 4 different people and stretched thin.
