This thread was for VTO- Volunteer time off.. not PTO.
PTO that is accrued in your account must be paid to you per the law.

Is there a PTO PAYOUT if you are relieved of duties immediately but paid through the 60 day notice? Shouldn’t we receive this information in writing??!!

There’s also a max amount of PTO they’ll pay out so make sure you’re under the max or you lose it

@wmb+1jC9zPOF Yes, but payout of PTO balances is taxed, so it’s a matter of preference whether to use them and get the “full value” or have the payout amount reduced.

No, don’t use any PTO days, Humana has to pay those out upon your departure.
