The good old days are over. This place is basically a global nursing home, with people in India quietly milking the company while working remotely.

Heard from 3 separate people on the inside, with a lot of confidence, that a reorg and layoffs are coming in the next 1-2 weeks. And now there've been a few leaks that back that up, so this isn't just rumors floating around anymore. GF's Q1 2026 financials have a line item called "Structural optimization" That's classic corporate bullsh-t speak for "we're restructuring," and it usually shows up in the books before anyone tells employees officially. When companies gut the top of the org chart like that, it's usually a sign more reorg is coming down the pipeline. Their next earnings call is August 5. That's exactly the kind of moment where companies "coincidentally" announce restructuring. Either on the call itself or in the days right after. This isn't just a vibe anymore. The paper trail and the insider info are pointing the same direction. "Get ready now," not "Wait and see." Just a stranger on the internet so do with that what you will.

The leaders in packaging are the best!

Shouldn’t they do it before the earnings call? So as to boost up the stock price

@zg

So what you recommend is- smoke 'em if you got 'em?

Hearing a few weeks. Anyone else? Already seeing some substantial re-organizing and leadership changes/layoffs. There’s smoke on the hill.

@OP I’ve been at GF for over 10 years and have never seen attitudes this low. 5% reduction. What a shame.

@e9 The managers here take their responsibilities far too lightly. Whenever an issue arises, they mechanically ask the same questions from the same template, like robots.

@OP Hearing mid August. Share price is still higher than the past year. Can’t imagine what it’s going to look like when the AI rug gets pulled. RIP.

3rd week of August. Expect layoffs. Eliminating managers managing managers roles is the priority. Business unit and not region specific.
