Did anyone over 50 land a new job after being layed off from this stellar company??
If so, how long did it take you and how did you do it.
Lenovo gave us this free career placement LHH but I find it boring and of no value.

@e8 going confidence about your age. A lot of this stuff is really meant for people that know what they're doing and are mature and understand this market. So just go with confidence I'm older than you and I've never had any issues getting a job and I've never felt age was an issue at all. Good luck. Lenovo is a very well regarded company it's great to have it on your resume.
I did. Took two months so I still had some severance left. And yes, the LHH is totally useless. I just used my network and made sure everyone knew I was looking
