Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

LAST QUARTER BEFORE THE SPIN!!!!

What’s going to happen? How’s it going to be in the new Honeywell?

It’s an exciting time. What new talent will join this great company?

April - will there be showers?

They’re not paying us on time. Taking triple union dues out.

Business as usual. Couple people at my work ended up owing the company money because they are not paying people correctly. How would you like to see -$23.96. Only getting paid for one week of pay. When your check is based on two weeks of pay

They even are taking out medical benefits and 401(k) when you didn’t apply for them. I believe they’re doing this to make themselves look good before the spinoff. They have a one time charge off of 470 million. I guess it would be higher if they went sc--wing with our pay.

What a company. Sc--w with paychecks. In order to cover the one time $470 million debt. Sc--w with the paychecks. In order to make sure our cordial numbers are good.

@e0 industrial automation is like Will Ferrells character in Austin Powers, where he won’t die no matter what happens.

Matter of fact I’m going to watch that scene right now.

Industrial Automation is next on the chopping block, it's being dying a slow agnonising death for the last decade. So many parts of the business to be sold or currently for sale officially and unofficially.

I heard there was a tsunami of cash allocated for the spinoff. And once that’s used up it’ll be like the Sahara desert where costs will get squeezed.

I don’t see Honeywell performing poorly though. If anything we will continue to grow with inflation. There are no warning indicators.

We sell product that every industrial, commercial and even residential building requires. True automation business.

Yes our marketing is trash. But so is our supply chain. And our IT. And our CORP overlords. But this means that efficiency can only go upward.

I predict hiring lots of 25 yr old McKenzie consultants in pant suits being paid $500/hr to facilitate change and help people realize new opportunities. Keep smiling
