There’s no chance to breathe or rebuild after a layoff before the next wave begins. It feels like living inside a permanent storm where the forecast never improves. I'm starting to wonder if this is all deliberate to force us out by quitting. Can anybody think of a better explanation?

II would do it in a second and thank them for allowing me to get out of there and save myself!!!
There are riffs constantly it feels like. But they are small and top secret. Then you go looking for someone and poof!they're gone…
@e7 - Agree. Same here.
@jy - Me too!
@11s Ever watch Hunger Games "I offer myself as tribute" comes to mind.
Yet there are some who would prefer the layoff and some form of severance rather than stay at this company. Too bad trades can't be made
At least you were not apart of layoffs. Be thankful. I got a RIF on 5/1. You have a job. Do the best you can.
Side note… just because an associate/poster isn’t aware of layoffs doesn’t mean they are not happening. Elevance is a huge company and most people don’t have a line of sight to the nuances of every group. I was laid off months ago and when I told colleagues in other teams, they had been completely unaware that any layoffs happened.
A lot cheaper to make people quit
To my knowledge, there hasn't been any layoffs. What areas are you aware of?
