Lots of clowns here not answering your questions at all.

Within audit analytics, you’re largely working with audit teams and data business partners to under analyze and understand the sh---y data. The culture of the dept as a whole is sh-t, but there isn’t any ill will towards the analytics team. The last several years for that team weren’t great, but it’s seemingly possibly getting better.

I’d consider the audit department as a whole as hot garbage with the cae cutting budgets left and right and getting ready to layoff lower level people (just laid off a bunch of leaders in the last couple weeks). If you’re comfortable with that the companies benefits are great.

Auditors are needed, I get it, but just know that everyone you audit is going to be upset at you. It won’t be easy conversations, there will always be a lot of push back. So if you can handle always being in “fight” mode, or you’ve done audit before elsewhere then it’s going to be fine since you know what you’re getting into.
