AR visits GoA

Whats the story with Amber? Is she really an ace with Refining? Or another looney leg-opener? Sure seems like a very big talker.

AR is GC’s protege from Exxon, and Whiting is a derelict refinery over 100yrs old at its core. Refining leadership slaps a few plasters on that aged husk with brittle bones like a Flex Tape commercial. Leadership gets a quick cost savings / productivity win on the CV and then passes the hot potato to the next ambitious gambler. AR appears to have had a close shave.

@e5 She came from XOM and hired numerous XOM sycophants. She has the gift of gab, but cannot deliver the results.

She led Whiting and then Global refining. Look at the state of that business and there’s your answer.
