His a prat, sits under Gangully in the org/team chart.
@ft
Who on earth is this ‘Brock’ person that many of you refer to as he’s not on any exec list that I can find and seems to have some sort of extraordinary influence on decisions supposedly made by DXC?
@er+1 full details the main person is Brock. His the worst example in DXC of this setup, meetings and endless paperwork creation.
He will have multiple systems for the same information. He is a master blocker, and if he is unplugged the company will flow.
Full details please!
G@e7+1kv55x67a it because the DxC management layers and overhead is so heavy. A 25% cut is required to make things flow better.
Instead of employing external growth focus with customers the current management layers just focus internally. They try and justify their roles holding lots of meetings so they can report achievements up the line.
The focus of the company is totally misaligned.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to work here. I'm invited to endless status meetings breaking up the day with 30 mins here there between other events. How is anyone expected to get stuff done in all these fragmented blocks. By the time you've made a drink and checked your email all you can really do is wait for the next call. We really need to have no meeting days, and long blocks of focus hours. If you want a stand up - do it at 7am and get everyone up and working, rather than not logging in till 9:30, can't have the status meeting until 10, and by the time anyone starts work it's 11am, and soon after that it's lunchtime. This is why nothing gets done in any hurry.
@ds cash flow
@b1 Will we get paid this week. And will it be right. Issues last month a glitch or cashflow problems?
First quarter under water. Bigly. Gotta figure how to spin this so that Rawhul and c level get their incredible bonuses while putting the sc--ws to the rest of us.
Payroll issues ??
Its a meeting about a meeting arranged by useless brock to discuss more timesheets so he can analise further.
No need for any growth.
Derek or Andy?
