@df That’s great for you, imagine the families of US casualties and Iranian civilians probably have a different view. Ditto for small businesses and individuals struggling with high costs.

Crude investments doing great, mortgage and everything else paid off, EV in the driveway fully charged, Glass half full at all times....... life is Good for True Americans.

@dd Crude oil at $100 bbl, gas over $4 gal, mortgage at 7%, Fed hiking interest rates, $45 billion spent in Iran, Houthi fighting Saudi, Ukraine still under attack, trade war with Canada, European allies scorned - all the handiwork of a stable genius.

MW knows full well that DJT’s word means nothing, that agreements with him are meaningless, that no one in his administration can be trusted, and that he is largely ignorant and uninformed. MW’s job is to find a way to flatter DJT, avoid his thin skin, and play to his wholly misplaced sense of grandiosity to get what CVX needs. And, hopefully ride it out until that blessed day when DJT is finally gone.

Chevron has to deal with whoever is in the WH, good or bad. Obama, Biden, Trump … doesn’t matter. Same is true in every other country where we operate. All criticize us when politically convenient for them. That’s how the world works.
