Heard that it’s going away and that an email is going out next month with detail. Anyone hear anything else?

@jg better solution, take it to the US Dept. Of Labor and file a complaint.
@g9 Report it to employee concerns.
I joined 5 years ago. At that time I was offered probably a higher salary compared to my IBM coworkers. accepted even though at the previous company I was making 10 % more.
I am fine with this. The issue is that once my coworker became my manager he complains that my coworker earn less. Instead of fighting for their promotion he found another solution. Put me on a PIP
to have a chance to put me on a lower rank.
I never even check my salary but unfortunately my manager is jealous it seems.
How to handle apart from finding a new job.
You are now expected to work much harder and keep on top of your utilization targets to be around next year to learn that there is no pay increase or bonus for 2026
@dr no come on IBM has been coasting on past glory in early 2000s and the well is drying up
That comment says far more about the person posting it than it does about IBM or Arvind Krishna. Resorting to racist insults because you dislike corporate decisions is intellectually bankrupt. IBM employs talented people from all over the world because global tech companies hire based on skills, engineering depth, and business needs — not internet-comment-section rage.
And calling IBM the “laughingstock of tech” ignores reality: Fortune 500 companies, governments, banks, airlines, and healthcare systems still rely on IBM infrastructure every single day. You don’t maintain relationships with many of the world’s largest enterprises for decades through “deceit and deception.” You do it by delivering systems that actually work at scale.
@d1 until 1993
@d0 you must mean Indian monkeys, since those are the only ones that Alvind, Krabanaugh and the CIO look to hire. If you pay peanuts, you hire monkeys, of course.
IBM is the laughingstock of the tech world these days. It can only acquire clients through deceit and deception.
@d0 it used to a be a reputable place that commanded a lot of respect.
Who, in the right mind, wants to gamble with the career and join a company with no prospect of advancement?
IBM can’t attract smart young people, it is a circus for monkeys.
@a1 it's not Gordon Gekko, but Avaricious Arvind and Capricious Kavanaugh that IBMers have to be worried about. Of course, Greed has NO limit.
Getting funneled into Arvind’s bonus! Good for him. It’s weird how everyone is just ok with this.
But the $100 million bonus for the Indian blood su---r parasite at the top is kept.
The parasite makes hard decisions.
Bob dont need no stinking increases.
No bonus, No Salary Hike for 2026 - Greed is God and Gordan Gekko is going to keep all the money for himself and his cronies.
