Rumor is that EBCE folks get the axe in the coming 2-3 weeks. My question along with this is why are they still taking up people's time and still starting engagements?!

@eg Exec Head of ITV has a list of at least 100+ ITV Non-Performers to get rid of, as well as over-promoted ITV Staff. It’s all political games at WF. Combining groups to give employees false hope of job safety, only to be laid off in a few weeks or months. The bank does NOT care about anyone, all they care about is boosting the stock price by cutting jobs. It’s a lie when Charlie says he wants to reduce head count, for every 100 staff he lays off, 100 new jobs are posted at a lower title and salary, which is not reducing head count, its called playing games and hurting good, decent hard working staff, while the SLT Execs collect millions of extra $$$$b in their paychecks.
The statement from leadership is that the combined group would be smaller than the individual groups. It looks more like both ITV and EBCE will suffer loses. I'm sure there were people that early on went to EBCE from ITV that leadership wants to retain and people in ITV that they will gladly put on the chopping block.
Either way...I'm hope to get that golden ticket and be done with all this nonsense! 😅🤣😂
@a9 because a lot of their work was not sufficient and both ITV and audit found issues with it. They were only stood up bc of the consent order and are no longer needed. The regulators rely on the testing in risk and audit.
@cp they are going away. Their role and methodology are going away. Only a small percentage of the people will move to ITV, some have already moved to other orgs or put their notice in
EBCE is not going away. They're just getting moved into the IT&V org next year.
