Is anyone seriously taking Pham at his word when he talks about “the facts”? His track record speaks for itself. His role is to make decisions that affect your positions, and his history of desk combinations should be enough to make people pay attention.
Remember when he said he was sent here to change the HDC culture? So far, the results have been dismal at best. Don’t let the long-winded explanations and friendly smiles convince you that his priorities necessarily align with yours.
Saturday’s email was another example. Instead of addressing the substance of the situation, he used a personal reference to his mother and their heritage as a way to “lighten the mood” and make his rubbish easier to swallow. Regardless of anyone’s feelings about him personally, the focus should be on his actions, his record, and whether those actions demonstrate that he has the best interests of the dispatchers affected by his decisions in mind.
Look at his track record, not the presentation. That’s where you’ll find the facts.

Upper management does not threaten. Instead, they gaslight people into being fearful.

BNSF has 835 train dispatchers for roughly the same amount of territory miles the UP has 300 train dispatchers covering.

Upper management has literally threatened them in writing at this point.
@cc UP does not have a choice if it goes to an election and the UP dispatchers actually have some sense about themselves and vote yes to representation
They are stuck on salary, UP isn't going to allow them back to hourly and overtime pay. If it benefits the employee, UP won't allow it.
They’ve probably already had so many threats from upper management that they won’t join.
