My team seems to be safe but that could change in a few days when our Director returns. Is it too late to notify your team that it has been affected by the June 15th layoffs?? How does this work?

Don't make a big deal out of this. Have you ever played musical chairs? This is how layoffs are being conducted at at&t.
No one is safe. Its going to be spread like peanut butter.
@c3 we're entitled to up to two years termination pay
Dang, that means the affected personal will not be getting paid for the next upcoming holiday. On the other hand it solves the RTO issue for a lot of ‘em. Cheers to all.
@c6 , there ARE “rules” but only for us plebes.
HR handles notification of "at risk work group" and the surplus notification.
Your boss won't be delivering the news.
I believe off payroll date is July 1 so you will be notified by 6/17, if you are affected.
There are no rules here. Execs and HR just do as they please! If they want you gone they will find a way to make it happen, despite any schedule…
@bv “Many of us senior workers in the Leg T contract are patiently waiting surplus.”
Please elaborate, what happens when Legacy T union workers are declared surplus?
@bv keep waiting, and waiting, and waiting…
Many of us senior workers in the Leg T contract are patiently waiting surplus.
You may be safe in June but not july
You could be safe from that date but I’m hearing they have multiple dates with big numbers on each one.
