Has anyone been hired back at WF after IM rating and subsequent layoff?

Actual recruiter here- yes you can be hired back.

Everyone knows how the performance evals work. Managers have a certain level of ratings they can assign and will find any excuse to IM.

Recruiters can also see your evals. All of it, including the comments and your input. Document everything.

Recruiters can also see Manager check ins. Use the employee comment box to respond appropriately.

Recruiters and hiring managers know what game is played. Cultivate your reputation. It will get you farther than the evals.

Other than that- check your official rehire-ability status. Sometimes it will be non-rehire-able because you took more pto than you accrued before the layoff. You'll have to pay it back before you could be eligible for rehire.

I should add that year end, I received IM and no PIP. The week mid year reviews were to be delivered, my Manager and I were both laid off. I planned ahead for the possibility of being laid off and am finding myself again. I have one job application in for WF. I only wanted to get back in to retain tenure, PTO, etc.

I was laid off and not fired. First time in my WF 20+ year career where I had a rating lower than meets.

Haven't you heard they are firing for IM with specifically stated you cannot return? It happened to me. It is a complete set up crafted from 1980s Jack Welch "rank and yank". That is how incompetent and toxic the leadership is now!
