Are we doing title realignment again? Does anyone have more info on what is it and why it is coming our way?
I understand that they are trying to set as much people as possible. Is this exercise being performed instead of mid year reviews?

The whole purpose of this is for BE to get a metric that will group labor into the functional categories she needs to view to see where AI can be applied. They are targeting P3 P4 “functons”. The talking point is to help them align training and career paths. Bunk

Interesting that the framework came out yesterday, the FAQ says it's not about getting rid of jobs, yet today there was a massive call about getting rid of tech jobs.

@a3 If they didn't want generic job titles, maybe they shouldn't have retitled every single tech worker in my area to Lead Engineer.
This is for attrition only. If you think changes like this are for the employees I got a bridge to sell you.
Any change that comes from HR is designed to sc--w the employees.
I think it’s to define what you do on a spreadsheet, so they can see what can be off shored clearer. Too many job titles are generic to see what you actually do.
Not sure about title but you will get asigned a role.
There are specific duties and responsibilites for each role.
If you do not perform the duties for that role, you will be gone
