@rt You're right. They're already discussing options with procurement in CA (Central America), SA (South America), and Canada. Implementing the tariff will remove those options.

@qs it is the second punch which is must needed. Right now we leverage India the most and near shore models.
These Indians are sneeky. They will find a loophole and send their workers there eg Mexico or Canada.

Unfortunately this only pertains to importing foreign workers on H1-B / OPT, not with off-shoring jobs to other countries.

An improvement, to be sure, but not quite enough to prevent off-shoring.
