@a7 Iran just purchased 2500 9K333 Verba MPADS from Russia. If we don't get regime change their proxies will have the ability to deny access to the airspace of much more of the Middle East. For the cost of one C-17, Iran gets 2500 tries with tri band guidance system that isn't fooled by flares. China is sending new missiles as well. Iran invested in we-pons that win dollar per dollar. If this war is drawn out this is going to become a disaster. We have very high tech we-pons but they cost so much and America is on the brink of terrible financial problems. I don't see why some people are still praising this as a win. It's a desperate move more than a win. We don't have the manufacturing base for this type of war.

Job loss in one industry = job gains in others. Right now, and for the forseeable future, defense companies are hiring to handle the requested surge in requests to rebuild our munitions.
