@bd couldn't imagine paying for gas every other day on my personal account. Way too much money no raise then.
Now I have a job where the gas is fleet paid for, but that adds up. But I see how it is difficult.

Good thing I didn't relocate to Charlotte. All I'd ever be buying is gas.
They could have at least offered mileage maintenance or a gas card.... I mean not really our fault they moved everyone to hubs. Their idea.
Su-ks though as not everyone has the means to move or relocate.

This day and age, remote should have been a full time option to whoever wanted it as needed and ifit was a health issue (backed by a dr note of course). should never expire. Fairness, you say? We are grown adults here. If someone was doing something shady like that, by abusing, they are the ones who will have to live with that and give an answer to someday.

If they had, offered something like that (gas, mileage maintenance) I would have been able to stay on. Four total a day is a lot compared to my past 30 minute commute time.

Don't worry, Co-Location strategy is real. You soon will either be in Charlotte, Minneapolis, Des Moines, or Dallas if "lucky" enough to be a US servant left. The majority will remain in India.

But it's all about driving an hour, wasting gas and then hopping on Teams to collaborate with people thousands of miles away!!

You just can't make this sh** up!

Wf should be asking us to wfh due to gas prices, which will only be going up in the following months. Those of us that can should do our part to use less.
