I volunteered and got the severance along with MR75. Now the company also gets to pay for unemployment per state law.
Leaving with a bronze parachute is better than nothing. Thanks for the good times until recently T!

It’s been bouncing off the bottom for quite some time now and just when you think it can’t get worse, they find a new bottom.
@c6 why am I still lurking here? Because I still have friends who are still stuck in the cesspool and whom I still care about. So, I care enough to keep tabs on their wellbeing and this site on occasion has useful information (unlike the “yet you’re still here posts”).

They most likely will offer you a job again in 6 months as a contractor. A lot of people are back as contractirs and they wfh, have low stress and get paid more.
I didn’t realize how bad it was at T and more importantly how bad T had destroyed me as a person until I was surplused!
It did su-k trying to find a new job! It took 6 months. Any corp job has risks, but at least I work for a company that has decent leadership. So, much so our stock has RISEN in value more than three times what T is trading at today.
