It’s NOT unlimited. It never was.
It’s “responsible” time off, whatever the definition of that may be to you.
Favorite part is counting down the days until severance from this wretched place and this ignorant and pathetic team of executive “leaders”.
Board members take notice that TIAA will very soon be a shell of itself with hundreds possibly thousands of talented folks soon to be working at our competitors offices or from their homes for them. Be ready. Winter is coming!
Great benefits, great pay, great VC. My manager is really good. Maybe I’m part of the unpopular crew here, but I’m okay with my job. Yes there are things I don’t like (hybrid schedule, dirty office, inconsiderate EC) but I’m happy to have a paycheck. That’s more than what some people have today.

@aq I miss Herb Allison. Roger "Coke Bottle Glasses" Ferguson was a nice guy. Low key. Smart. Sharp--unlike the narcissistic "pi-p my ride" NY Liberty investing TBD. What a waste of time, money, and space. Bring in the CEO of USAA from Texas. Juan Andrade. Great guy. Humble Servant. Great Leader. He'll turn around TIAA and get Frisco moving in the right direction.

The lack of them putting a /s or “sarcasm” like you did leads many to believe this is a troll pot by some evp or above trying to praise a failing company with terrible scores on here, Glassdoor and others by current /former employees.
Career enhancement? They just shut down my entire unit so they could outsource it to a consulting firm. Not one of us was told we could look internally, wasn't even presented as an option.

I’m frustrated as well but can we stop with these types of threads?! If you are so unhappy just quit. I would like to keep coming on here to read about what is really going on but it’s annoying to read silly threads.

Unlimited PTO? Dude it’s not unlimited. Just see what happens when you go over 30 days. Or 40.
What career enhancing tools do you speak of? DEAL is absolutely garbage. Training and internal learning has always been a joke.
I take back literally nothing comment. The best part about working at TIAA is the Severance package they are still offering which is awesome compared to other companies come layoff time. Many folks in Denver will get at or close to a full year salary in severance.
Really nothing. Over the past 3 years, what I loved about TIAA has been taken away or changed.
