I just read the article in a News that company is about to layoff 200 people in Kosice, Slovakia by July 1. One of the cheapest places to hire people and yet, here we go. No one is sparred, not even cheap labor.

There are a lot of people in Slovakia with no new work so headcount being shared with US based team as cover.

AI is going to end a lot of jobs, unfortunately.
Good the only employees should be US based and no H1B either.
