Op here. I am not tech. I work finance and demand planning.

I keep planning the business down but my manager wants to pretend there is growth coming. The. I am forced to layer in growth; but first forecast accurately says no growth. Then we have the explain to the VPs that picked the number, why it didn’t work.

Why is every post from tech? Are there no other functions on this site? So sick of seeing apparently everyone in GT moan and complain.

What an HR lame response. We should be hating and I am not a bot.

This is an echo chamber for unhappy employees that should just quit already and a bunch of angry ex employees who are still struggling with ego injury (which means that they were absolutely the RIGHT kind of folks to be let go), sprinkled with opportunistic journalists. Would not be surprised if there were bots. Don't buy into this baited bs, don't spin off what you read here... it's incredibly tainted. Haters gonna hate. Find courage, own your destiny and if you haven't the courage be grateful you have a job. Or choose to be miserable, martyr.

I love watching JM get poorer each week. While his stocks degrade.

Come at me HR

@b8

I agree. But those aren’t the words. For reasons, you and everyone else needs to wise up. And use hostile environment and retaliation

A hostile work environment is a form of illegal workplace harassment where:

Unwelcome conduct based on a protected characteristic becomes so severe or pervasive that it creates an intimidating, hostile, or abusive work environment

  • Retaliation* occurs when:

An employer takes a materially adverse action against an employee because they engaged in a protected activity related to discrimination or harassment.

Mods… this is important. When Nike HR reaches out to have this post removed… consider the above. And that asking for it to be removed goes against the above federal guidelines.

HR is a joke. They are also part of Legal so please know that they are NOT your safe space! They serve a purpose of protecting the company. Document everything and trust nobody. That’s not a toxic work environment….is it?
