Thread regarding Qorvo layoffs

Layoff package for VP

Skyworks has created a new severance plan for top executives.
It was approved on November 11, 2025 and filed on November 14, 2025.

This plan only covers Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents who report directly to the CEO.
Directors, managers, engineers, and all non-executive employees are not included.

If a VP or SVP is laid off in normal times, they receive:
• One year of base salary
• One year of company-paid medical insurance
• A partial bonus they have already earned
• Some RSUs that would have vested within the next 12 months

If a VP or SVP is laid off after a merger or company sale, they receive:
• One and a half times their base salary
• One and a half times their target bonus
• Eighteen months of company-paid medical insurance
• Full vesting of all RSUs
• Extra time to exercise stock options

To receive these benefits, they must sign a legal release and follow non-compete rules.

This plan gives very strong protection to VP and SVP executives.
Regular employees do not receive these benefits.

One CEO and eight board members from Skyworks. Three board members
from Qorn-ole. That should give you an idea of the "fix the glitch" strategy. The party is over!

You know it's Qorvo when the discussion turns intellectual ... fast.
Good luck, Skyworks.

I think they have a severence package for the soon to be "set free" . Its called dont let the door hit you in the .... Skyworks is not paying severance for Qorvos Bob Lackey's and the multitude of inept workers that have been hiding there. Skyworks will just..fix the glitch

All the experts. thats you..., get your interview helmets on, Might as well get Dunning-Kruger tattooed on your forehead, cause five minutes into your interview, when you cant answer the big boy questions they will be onto the next candidate..

Go ahead, tell em what you did for five or ten years.. even twenty years.... wait till you see what a technical interview is.....

All that dead wood. Think about the amount of dead wood left over from nepotism and RFMD and Triquint legacy hanky panky. There are managers and Senior Managers that are really going to get a taste of reality.

My manager is still in the ground hog office, with the door closed...Im worried they might plaster over the door while they're "hiding" in there...dreaming about the glory days....
