I was wondering if company had a moment of silence or sent an E-mail out in remembrance of 9/11 as my group has not seen anything.

Too woke for that. Corporate communications micro manage everything
It's was a moment of selling. If you missed it, come see me, And bring your union rep.

Revenue, and that’s IT?
IT's a revenue drag.
It’s simple. Verizon doesn’t give a sh-t about anyone or anything. Revenue and that’s IT!! Verizon lost the culture of its employees years ago. You went from having a name to just an employee code.
@az But they did recognize National
Hug a Tree Day.
9/11 was a inside job ! # 911truth.org
Big difference, VZ didn't exist at the start of WWII.
They did however run one of the nation's largest telcom infrastructures on 2025-09-11, and it crashed hard.
And some of us became members of GETS because of that. https://www.gwids.cisa.gov/GETSwelcome/
But as often happens with 20+ years of service, the corporate ladder people forget. And they'll regret that, because Verizon has become a joke. The CEO is a crook, and he's bled thousands off payroll to make himself richer, meanwhile T-Mobile has a much better network. VZ stock still $40-ish bucks, eh? Glad I got out after two decades of service and a package, the rest of you will get sc--wed.
GETS exits partially because Verizon was unequipped for dealing with landline or wireless traffic 2001-09-11
I put that in ISO format for a reason.
Verizon fails in a crisis.
And, Dec 7th, crickets.
@az, way to make it all about you.
My local said nothing either- sad.
Maybe they will now, as there’s three hours left to acknowledge the loss?
Sell One More!
Personally as a local tech who lost family and lost friends along with fellow workers we all lost .I find it amazing how Verizon seems to be able to send out so much garbage along with uselessness !!! Yet 911 they think maybe because the years have gone by that there was no need to send out anything separate. i mean didn’t have to be major about 911 but a dedication or how about maybe let us have a short time for moment of silence !I know a lot of us do take the moment anyway but why not collectively.I still believe one thing is sure while all over people were affected.Locally it was devastating to the people & technicians in the metropolitan area.Im thinking since a lot of our management up at the top is from elsewhere now they really don’t see 911 the same as we do .Rest in peace cousin
It didn’t even get its own email. 9/11 was mentioned crowded out among a bunch of other items in a Good Morning email around 8:30 AM today. There is a single page article on the intranet.
Passing mention buried in an email. Never Forget!!
OK thks as must have been by group and not all employees like all the other 💩 cr-p we get. Thought odd as we work work with alot of the NY techs in the field and inhouse who updated us and sent us images of event.
@OP There was a brief mention in the "Good Morning V Team" email, with a link to a VZTube video
They can’t! That’s not cost effective to be concerned for the fallen soldiers of Vz who lost there life’s they were just a number ALWAYS remember that and with that attitude asking you are just a ( work from home) push on a computer away from being laid off and replaced but thanks for building the Vz pyramid
