Constantly new changes, every few weeks there’s another round of layoffs, now this RTO cr-p... You start to wonder if it’ll ever stop. Most of us are exhausted and anxious, and are just waiting for the next announcement. That can't be good for productivity, not at all.

I should have taken the buy out but I hoped that I would be saved but I wasn't I was laid off earlier this year. I was sad and angry at first but it ended up being a blessing in disguise. I enjoyed the summer off while looking for work and 4 monthes later landed a new job with more pay and more then that I am not stressed out and worried all the time. I am thankful for the time and knowledge that I gathered at UHC and the amazing people I met there but I am glad to no longer be there.
I took the buyout that was offered at the beginning of the year. The best decision that I've ever made!! No more of the BS and stress is GONE.
(I was there for 6+ years.)
The company has done a 360 in how they treat the onshore employees...cr@p pay/annual increases. They even got cheap with the customer service appreciation week. At one time they actually gave us something...instead of those stupid games that nobody has time to do.
It took me about 3 months to find a job and great mngmt...the benefits are also amazing!!! 3 wks pto the first two years. After 2yrs...you get 4 wks...
And my health insurance isn't with UHC!!
I do have to go to the office...and I'm good with that... I missed being around ppl.
@aw Because that is what they want. They want you to quit so they dont have to pay out a severance packet. Stick it out make them lay you off and if you have been here a while you may get something. Plus this close to the holidays finding a new job will be even harder.
Are any layoffs expected tomorrow 10/16
The RTO handout is rich too. The SOP is to gaslight anyone asking why they were hired as Remote recently if the company knew it was a bait and switch.
You can tell by the handout that they don’t even want you to complain to your manager because there is a 99% chance your manager agrees with you that this makes no sense.
why wait why not begin searching then
