I worked in an area that seemingly had full external access. There were restrictions, such as content, attachment restrictions, and size of email restrictions. Depending on where or to whom one was sending.
If it is more restrictive than that lately, well I can't speak to that, as I was displaced late last year.

No. Most people cannot send emails externally except to a list of approved domains.
Try sending a personal email to yourself just saying Test.
They are clamping down on external emails across the bank.

If you now can't send external email - and you could yesterday - yes. Its a sign. Get your box ready.
