Maybe Dans next RIF will get the stock numbers back up as there is no real plan going forward that I have heard of. I seem to remember back in the day company being a leader and now more or less a follower = the tail wagging the dog type scenario. 🤔 But im the old person the youngsters salm and told to get out.

@c1 used to be all things being equal they’d just hire the white guy. DEI led to the thought of why don’t we broaden it a little bit and not just hire the white guy all the time. so some white guys that years ago, absolutely would’ve gotten the job didn’t it. I don’t know I look around the managerial trees and there still is a ton of white guys there.

So did some people that weren’t white guys get jobs over white guys? Absolutely that happened. was it unfair? I don’t know was it unfair when the white guy always used to get it? You’re just lying to yourself if you think all the middle-aged white guys in management are super competent. You know that’s not true and having years in a job does not automatically qualify you for a promotion

The old boy network existed and still does. And the flat bottom line of this whole conversation is many people that post on here think only white men are qualified for certain jobs. That’s what you think and that’s because you’re racist.

@ap so your because they were hired because of dei they aren't qualified. Im pretty sure that when hired women and people of color through dei. There was some very or even overly qualified people hired. Now when hired strictly through the old boys network or even nepotism I guess you would say they were all qualified .

Under my fellow V Teamers... Middle Mgr and Unions execute... Your naming of Execs is not the point.

Vz admitted they hired DEI vs Merit. New Executives will clean out and meritocracy.

The fact I have to explain to you just reenforces you should always remember to include napkins when a customer pulls up to your drive up window!
