The company keeps asking us the beginning of every quarter for a show of interest in VSB but then nothing.

Never happening. They are going to work you till you leave voluntarily or drop dead.
No Buyout. I guess the Union Lied about us getting ready for a severance package. The union is not keeping us informed about anything. So frustrating. AT&T either let us go or treat us better.

There is no buyout, there is no package, there is no severance. You’ll be assigned and overworked until you decide to quit. It’s a very simple concept. You may not like it but it’s true.
It's already in Stink's pocket. Walkin' around $ for that POS.
Not gonna happen. They’d rather you continue to work, die on the job and pay a lot less pension to your spouse. It’s a win for the company and a loss for you.
If you want to retire, just do it. Life is temporary. The more time you spend here will be less time you get to enjoy it.
