Leave all zeros for Pulse. get your leadership fired before they lay you off!
dont listen to the people who say otherwise. those are likely bad leaders who are afraid of being downvoted

I wish I could give management a negative number
The premise of OPs argument is that "bad" leaders should be given all 0's on the Pulse survey in order to identify and for action to be taken to improve their scores (or get shown the door). The problem with this is that the definition of a "bad" leader/manager differs widely between the c-suite and the employees under a manager. C-Suite likes yes men who enable their greedy ways. Employees, not so much. All 0's on a Pulse survey for a manager who is executing on C-Suite's plan and getting results and reducing cost (even at the expense of the future) would not cause bad attention from the c-suite, it would be praised, or ignored (maybe a wink and a nod with some "action plan" meetings for that manager with his team). It's perspective.
@cs the CEO is laying off thousands. at this juncture the point of filing out pulse isn’t to make the company better. its to get bad people fired and yes it happens hence why so many leaders are frightened by poor survey results
@OP Verizon has been using Gallup’s Pulse survey for over a decade and I assure you that no AD or SD has ever faced any meaningful consequences from poor results. Worst case scenario they have to come up with an action plan that is soon shelved and forgotten.
In addition, all zeros would probably get filtered out as a statistical anomaly. You have to mix up the ratings a little.
I used perplexity to complete my pulse survey after I delighted my wife with a poem also by perplexity. AI is the how and EI is the why! I play to win.
Some of you seem to think that management is going to start taking your concerns seriously because you filled out the Pulse survey and I think that’s adorable and funny! 😂
You must be new and haven’t figured out how things work around here. It’s a F your concerns and F your feelings kind of company.
Sure, they will rank the different managers & directors against each other but that’s not so they can improve things for you. That’s just to maintain the pretense that they’re impartial and objective.
We have been getting hints not to mention work from home in the Pulse, that since you didn't take the VSP you should put all 5s . The Pulse is a joke that just causes pointless meetings.
My best friend Claude did my Pulse survey.
@b4 cuuuuuuuzz
It's worse to not participate in the pulse at all -- now your boss has to explain to the higher ups why the participation is so low.
@ag its not about making it a better workplace. its about getting greedy people who are bad for the company fired. much more productive to get them fired before they fire me. you know, cuz?
@OP So you want to have continuous awkward meetings to figure out why you didn’t give all 5’s? Drink the kool aid and give all 5’s so we don’t have to sit through those pointless meetings.
@OP If you believe that they put Alfonso the hatchet man from McKinsey in charge of transformation so he can use the Pulse results to make this a better workplace with better bosses, I have a beautiful bridge I’d like to sell you.
Zeros across the board. Why should it be anything else.
Pulse surveys are a joke - not sure why they actually send them out anymore after all layoffs - we had some lady come to our store who cared and really made a difference but found out she laid off and now have this guy who could care less and a real RE-TA-D! why keep laying off wrong people? Stop sending pulse because they don't work anymore
