Easily one of their better initiatives.
@hr It's on the front page of intranet. Right on top. And it looks like there's now a way to give digitally, too. So, to the points below: company appears to be figuring this out pretty well in a really difficult circumstance.
Is there a post on the intranet? I saw the email from gunjan and I saw the news but I can't even navigate our own home page anymore.
@ad This I agree with. I think that they forgot that USB doesn't have a foot print in parts of the country and it would be convenient and faster to create a digital site for donations to get to the victims' families faster. I am actually satisfied with their response to the tragedy and the fact that they are both doing s partial matching of employer donations and separately donating to the families. OP, there's a lot you can knock the GK and the MC for but this is the one time where they haven't sc--wed their response.
Gunjan and crew have done an excellent job handling this tragedy! This is one of the few times I have agreed!
Looks like this isn't going very well for the OP. I think Gunjan and the MC have done a great job of communicating regarding this.
Not a Gunjan fan, but I give her credit for going to Kentucky yesterday.
The email today was appropriate.
The MC has taken a lot from employees, but they don’t deserve to be ripped on this.
What happened to Breanna and Brian were not the fault of U.S. Bank. It was the fault of the 18 year old who wanted "easy money" and had zero regard for their lives.
The only thing to be mad about regarding the communication today was that they couldn't provide any links to do a digital donation to the families for those of us no where near a branch.
This isn't the take.
As heartless as this place is, they're giving information for employees to send a memorial IF THEY WANT TO. Sending memorials when someone passes is pretty normal.
How miserable are you that you're attacking a gesture of support?
