@ac I highly doubt the company is going to return to a hybrid work week.

They are still fn with people, sending out move letters to people who are working just fine where they are. C Ant wasnt lying; nothing is going to change. Whatever we say will make us happy, they will do the opposite.

Let the down votes begin, service management had been for the most part virtual since 2008, when we were told to give up our space in the office to reduce real estate costs. Some of us worked from customer sites while others worked from home. It made sense since we were required to be available 24X7X365 unless on PTO. 15 years later in comes Chad Townes who had made his name by outsourcing/off shoring most of the support teams within AT&T, decided he does not care what your job entails (including the other teams that were required to work off hours) or you workplace status prior to Covid you were to start working in an office 5 days a week/8 hours a day effective July 2023. Seems like there are many orgs that had a 2-year reprieve from wasting hours commuting to an office to collaborate on TEAMS, just remember (or not) there have been coworkers that have been dealing with full RTO for over 2 years.

17 days a week. They’re going to reinvent the week.

IDK what you're talking about; our group went 5 days in September. The reprieve was because the space wasn't ready. There was a big building opening party and we got dorky little swag bags when they opened the 'new' building. There may be a small number of groups who are still 3 days, but CSO for the most part is 5-days.

They’re not. And neither is anyone else 5 days RTO is over in January

As much as I’d like to believe this, I know a group that is 2 wfh days that has been told to start coming in 5 starting in Jan.

Yes and so true. Announcement will be made near end of the quarter about abolishing the 5-day RTO policy. We will be going back to hybrid mode with 2 office days and 3 virtual days. The announcement will be made at VP/AVP level to their organizations. The change is effected on Jan. 5, 2026. It is an early Christmas gift. Happy New Year!!!!
