Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Last year for AT&T 2026 non-hubs?

I am wondering if 2026 is the last year for people living outside a hub to relocate. Since Plano won’t be built until 2028, I am wondering if we will have time till 2028.
Any rumors or murmurs on updated hubs?

@aj I believe that will be too late. Proactive moves for those who want to stay are climb the ladder. * of course no guarantees.

That won't happen until at least 2029. Once Plano is ready, the hubs will be closed down and people will have to move to Texas to work at the new Plano complex. The end game is that every white collar worker work at Plano unless they are in areas where marketing is a must. It will take until 2030-2031 to get everyone there.

Yes extensions will be granted if you were slated to move to Dallas or Ft Worth on 26 or 27. 🤔 Maybe

Don't count on moving until you are absolutely told. Who knows, they might dedicate your location as a hub since anything in writing is just writing that can be erased at will.

Not if you’re market based, then you’ll be in your respective market.

Ahhh, asking for a logical timing path driven by incoherent midwit execs who don’t look past next quarter……..I promise you, they have not cnsidered any downstream fallout from their decisions, especially as it relates to the common Extraneous and Replaceable Economic Units Of Which We Have Too Many.
