Who even gets RSU's?
Senior managers don't, so is it just Directors and above?

@ra you sounds like a slacker who should quite. Dell doesn't need no losers.
I feel like someone just discovered what the word "slacker" means and wants to use it in every sentence LOL
@k0 you sound like you should just quit. You don't even deserve severance.
"RSUs awarded means you are critical to the business."
LoL. The elusive dell high performer. Folks, if this aint parody I don't know what is.
@fs if you get RSUs then you won't be the one that is let go. RSUs awarded means you are critical to the business. Only those who decry RSUs will be WFR'd. You slackers know who you are.
What happens if someone gets let go few months before vesting? Do you lose everything?
calm down, gramps. nap time for you. you can dream about your dell glory days.
@eq you slacker and you sound like a bottom feeder. Dell has enough problems without keeping losers like you about.
There is literally no stack ranking at Dell. It's all about who you know in upper management and executives and/or if your manager is loud in advocating you to upper management
Eligibility is for anyone I5 and above. In practice, budgets have consistently gone down over last few years so primarily is just executives, M9-M10, and Some I9-I10. Engineers get larger share of budget allocation so they go into lower IC levels I7-8. Very rare in sales, services, etc. unless you're top talent.
Ok. No one is buying your dell glory stories here, boomer
@ee sounds like you were a slacker who didn't get RSUs. People stay for RSUs vesting as they're worth 100% of your salary due to the recent stock price increase. Enjoy your mom's basement.
Sure, boomer.
imagine staying at dell for the RSUs and thinking that's a win.
@ar you wish. Some of use were useful and got them because we're not you.
@bk your knees must be sore, ask your boss for knee pads next cycle.
I’ve gotten them every year employed. It’s good. Now it’s eclipsing my annual salary so working as much for the RSUs as salary. Just ask your boss for some
LoL. that 27k owed for the 1967 mortgage is not the flex you think it is.
I got some as i6 in Support few years ago. That was when I had my best manager. Since then I’ve had several managers and I’ve never heard of even them mentioning the possibility of getting some more.
Hugely depends on your manager and your relationship with them.
I paid off my mortgage with Dell RSUs. I8.
is it even worth the effort? think about it.
how many hoops you would have to jump thru and not much of an upside.
I got some as an i6 because they "couldn't" promote to i7
FYI @a2 nailed it. Nothing else to add here.
Top 10% on stack raking are eligible but upper management must go to bat for you. So all the top 10 percenters are eligible. Just depends on how much there is to go around. Becoming much harder to get.
I have, senior manager.
