Payday fridays about to see a huge surge in print jobs as people test if they'll still be around the following week.

Only if they changed things... I emailed personal things, photos, even past review PDFs for about day & half after being given notice. Logged back in to check stuff on third day after getting notice.
In my case it was removed 3 days ahead of my layoff. Also, my boss assigned a few of my tasks quietly to another team mate. That's when I realized my time is up.
It's not new. Been that way for a while. Printing and sending external emails removed very early before you are notified of the meeting.
It's an acquired role for full exclusion. One of the many DLP related traits you are suddenly treated to. Mostly to stop outgoing.
