Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

@ae Takis is not a consultant, he is a growth focused leader. Don’t see anyone saying anything bad about him, only people discussed on this platform is Dhivya and Mike L. Any comments?

The theory is that consultants have never run anything- yet with their Ivy League degree they think they are smarter than anyone else and usually are good at cost cutting but horrible at growing a company-and embracing the employee population that actually do the work. Let's hope that isn't Takis mode of operation.

@a4 McKinsey is a "consulting firm" where they basically charge companies a ton of money to tell them they need to do layoffs. Think of the worst parts of corporate jargon and workaholism and McKinsey is the poster child. Being a partner means he was fairly high up and a believer in the toxicity of their culture. Going to JP Morgan and being a Frank acolyte doesnt bode well for anyone working at Fiserv.

Just saw that and thought the same exact thing. McKinsey > JP Morgan (with Frank) > Fiserv.

We're sc--wed.

@OP - Just because you said it doesn't make it true. Don't make a blanket statement without also giving info to back it up. I would like to know why you say that because I don't anything about Takis OR McKinsey. What is the background there?
